Original Artwork

In this canvas, a woman is dressed and hairdressed like Marilyn Monroe.

Marilyn Monroe, American actress, famous for playing comedic "Blond Bombshell" characters, became one of the most popular sex symbol  of the 1950s and early 1960s, as well as an emblem of the era's sexual revolution.

Long after her death, Monroe remains a major icon of pop culture and a true inspiration for me.

Zebra echoes both with the stripes of her hands or her personality: what we could see and what she could hide or feel inside. The words are a call to life and to resistance to oppression for women having to abide to men rules and power.
